Reasonable range of good-value options. Some restaurants offer basic international cuisine but local dishes predominate, mainly pork, chicken, lamb and fish; the local beer and wine are also great value. Shopska salad (grated goat's cheese on a bed of chopped tomatoes, cucumber and black olives) is a refreshing starter or side order. For fast-food addicts, there is a McDonald's outlet.

Sunny Beach has more than 150 restaurants, folkstyle and other establishments with floor shows and excellent food snack bars and cafeterias.

Rousska Troika Restaurant - Sunny Beach Resort. This great restaurant offers an oriental menu of delicious exotic dishes, which you can enjoy while watching the, exotic floorshows of dance and music.

Fregatata (Frigate) - Sunny Beach Resort. This is one of the local landmarks of Sunny Beach, and has all the atmosphere of a period frigate, and a menu to match. Certainly worth checking out.

Hanska Shatra Restaurant (Khan's Tent) - Sunny Beach Resort. To experience traditional Bulgarian cuisine while enjoying the floorshow, or trying out the dance floor, this is a great venue with a most original exterior and interior decor.

Oasis restaurant - with a decor that has very oriental overtones, excellent floorshow, and immaculate service, this venue offers good food and good entertainment for an evening to remember.

Buchvata (The caks) - the best of Bulgarian cuisine washed down by superb Bulgarian wines.

Vyaturna melnitsa (The Windmill) - original design and atmosphere, national cuisine. Don't miss the shashlik, grilled on a fire at your side.

Chouchoura (The Spout) - rich range of local specialties, vintage wine and brandy.

Strandjanskite colibi (Mt. Strandjia Hut) - Period huts from the most exotic and least civilized part of the country, typical local cuisine.

Nightlife

Variety Bar
Fancy interior, floorshow, and sophisticated services. Dance floor. Try your luck at roulette, blackjack, and baccarat. Open nightly from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m.

Mania Disco Club
"Mania" disco club is a two-floor indoor disco where famous dj's are visiting from time to time. The music is mainly techno and house orientated. It's a favorite place for beautiful bulgarian girls and their bodyguards. Located not far from Kuban hotel just take the main street to the left and you will see it after about 100m. The post office and a Chinese restaurant are at its sides.

Cherven luv (The Red Lion)
Try the Red Lion pub, and have a pint or two. Sing some karaoke, or take part of the nightly 'Gladiator' competition. Two guys are sitting on a small bar (1,5 meter above the ground) facing each other. With some sort of a pillow (looking like the one boxers use for training) they will punch each other until one of them loses the balance and falls down. The winner goes to the next round. The one who has the best balance has the best opportunites to win. The one who tries to use a hard big swing using a lot of muscels loses the balance almost everytime ... This pub is a perfect place to start partying before going out to a nightclub.
